We have been in the 4th of July Parade since 2007.  It is an honor to be apart of the best parade that I have ever seen.  Galloway/Smithville should be proud of the great turnout.

The Smithville Barbershoppe has been a part of Galloway's Night Out Event every August to help raise money for the Galloway Police Department and all of the community programs it runs. Each year barbers from the shop give $5 Buzz Cuts with all of the money donated back to the police. Steve Fitzgerald was featured in an article about the event in the August 11 2010 edition of the Galloway Current.
